Polaroid launches the sharpest Polaroid camera ever. The I-2. Made for those who embrace chaos, beauty in the everyday, and the tactile pursuit of craft.
As art buyer my responsibility was to source and manage spotting and manage the right talent for the “Imperfectionists” campaign launch. I commissioned three creators who were interested on celebrating the chaotic aspects of life and the creative process: Coco Capitán, Max Siedentopf and Kotori Kawashima.

Coco Capitán
A breaker of forms, Coco Capitán’s craft is moored in chaos and unexpected beauty.
From her handwritten poems to her photography, painting, and installation art, Coco’s work is never about expressing perfection, but rather the imperfect collision of ideas and reality. To test the I-2, she hopped on a sailboat and ventured somewhere off the coast of Mallorca.
“I’m not into perfection. Chaos. Spontaneity. Randomness. That’s where reality exists.”
MAX SIEDENTOPF
A creative polymath, Max Siedentopf’s approach to craft celebrates the accidental, the unconventional, and the imperfect.
Max doesn’t believe in perfect moments. It’s failure, everyday surroundings, and luck that inspire us to craft better, more captivating work.
To test the I-2, he headed off to find the ‘extra’ in some of the ‘ordinary’ parts of Berlin.

KOTORI KAWASHIMA
A thoughtful photographer, Kotori’s craft is rooted in his ability to see and capture the poetry and beauty found in the everyday.
When shooting, he makes sure to give life space to breathe, to be itself. It’s with its guard down that the world reveals its beauty.
To test the I-2, he followed his catlike curiosity through the backstreets of Tokyo.
“For me, creating is about joy, surprise, and wonder. When I take photographs, I hope I can look at the moments in everyday life like a kitten.”
